The pump stopped working after a month (these things happen) and John Lewis could not help as stores were closed and their online division is not linked up (poor from JL). Medela responded quickly, are reimbursing the Medela hospital grade pump rental charge and have sent a new pump upon me sending back the faulty one.

I’ve had a brilliant experience renting a hospital grade Symphony breast pump. Twice when I’ve had issues with the pump, Medela have sent a replacement pump the very next day, without any quibbling or delays. Friendly customer support staff too. Can’t fault the service. Can return the old pump for free via UPS and they pick it up from home. The pump itself is the best I’ve tried by far.
